    Measurit Technologies Ltd logo

    Measurit Technologies Ltd

    United Kingdom

Measurit is the distributor of Check-Flex rubber check valves, and we have the biggest inventory of inline and duckbill style valves in Europe. We have supplied valves from 18-2700mm on many innovative drainage designs. Check-Flex rubber check valve facilitates sustainable drainage design by maximising gravity flow and reducing or eliminating pumping costs. The valves are passive and require no external power. Two models of Check-Flex valves, duckbill style and inline style, are available. These models offer the optimum maintenance free and reliable backflow prevention at any location, including severe coastal sites. The fibre reinforced vulcanised construction (similar to a tyre), offers a long service life, over twenty years. The Check-Flex G3 and G4 model duckbill valves are ideal for preventing silt and sand ingress at the end of a pipe. These valves function as variable area nozzles and find application in effluent diffuser systems in rivers and oceans, and mixing systems. The Check-Flex G5 inline valves are an ideal retrofit to resolve odour and backflow problems from municipal sewers. These valves are a universal fit to either the inlet or outlet pipe in a chamber. The direct seal to the pipe by an expanding clamp allows fast and leak free installation. Rubber check valves gained recognition as the default choice for reliable operation in critical backflow prevention in drainage, especially in challenging coastal and estuary locations. Today, Check-Flex valves deliver long maintenance free service life in all drainage applications.

    Nereda logo

    Nereda

    United Kingdom

Nereda® technology from Royal HaskoningDHV offers sustainable wastewater treatment solutions for municipal and industrial water. The natural sewage treatment process purifies water with minimal or no chemical usage by using the patented aerobic granular sludge technology. Compared to activated sludge technologies, the biological treatment power of the technology is much larger, while saving up to 50% on energy costs, delivering high quality effluent for low costs and requiring only a quarter of the area of conventional activated sludge installations. Biomass in the process develops as fast settling aerobic granular sludge. These granules have excellent settling properties, so the process does not require a separate time-consuming decant phase like conventional SBR’s. All the biological treatment processes take place simultaneously in the granules, requiring only one tank. The technology is very versatile; it can be developed as a new build or used to retrofit existing conventional CAS or SBR plants. The benefits of the technology include: Excellent treatment results and settling properties: Compared to activated sludge technologies, the biological treatment power of the technology is much larger as a considerably higher concentration of biological active mass is applied that in addition has a much higher content of microorganism that are crucial for biological nitrogen and phosphate removal. Sustainable: Compared to conventional wastewater treatment processes, the technology not only has significantly lower energy consumption and associated greenhouse gas emission, but also produces, commonly without the use of waste generating chemicals, a remarkably high effluent quality. Cost effective: The technology results in construction costs that are lower than for conventional technology as for example, tank volumes are up to four times smaller and less equipment is required. Small physical footprint: Its footprint at sewage treatment plants is reduced due to the full nutrient removal process taking place in one single reactor. Easy to operate: It has proved in operation to satisfy the most stringent purification requirements. Thanks to the nature of the technology, plant operation is easy and process performance robust. The technology is proven and applicable for even the largest applications. Currently, there are over 70 wastewater treatment plants in operation or under construction all over the world

    Why compare here

A directory of vetted water treatment companies, built for the shortlist decision.

Picking the wrong water treatment partner is not a small mistake. A mis-specified system locks your site into 15 or more years of the wrong OPEX, and a single emergency retrofit to correct it routinely runs ,000 to 0,000 on a mid-size industrial plant. The defence against that cost is a wider, better-qualified field at the shortlist stage, which is exactly what this directory is built to give you.

Aguato brings industrial water treatment companies, water treatment equipment manufacturers, wastewater treatment companies, and specialist service providers into one comparable view. Instead of ranking the same three incumbents your team already knows, you can filter the full set of water treatment suppliers by country, sector, and technology, then compare services, declared technologies, and verification status side by side. Every listing is reviewed against a quality bar before it is published, and providers who have claimed and confirmed their own details carry a verified badge, so you can weight the field on evidence rather than on who markets the loudest.

The payoff is a defensible decision. Shortlist three to five providers that genuinely fit your duty, request scoped proposals on one specification, and you get apples-to-apples pricing your CFO can sign off without a second round of questions. Post your project and qualified providers will scope the work against your actual numbers.

    Frequently asked questions

How do I compare vetted water treatment companies on Aguato?
Filter the directory by country, sector, and technology to narrow the field, then open each provider profile to compare services, technologies served, and verification status side by side. Shortlist three to five that match your duty and request scoped proposals so you compare like for like rather than auditioning brochures.
What should I check before shortlisting a water treatment supplier?
Confirm the provider has delivered your specific technology at your scale, that their stated regions cover your site, and that their service scope matches what you need, supply only, EPC, or a managed water-as-a-service contract. A mismatch on any of these is where six-figure procurement mistakes start, so verify fit before you invest time in an RFP.
How does Aguato vet water treatment equipment manufacturers and service providers?
Every listing is reviewed against a quality bar covering company description depth, declared services and technologies, geographic coverage, and website verification before it is published. Profiles a provider has claimed and verified carry a verified badge, so you can prioritise companies that have confirmed their own details.
Is it free to compare wastewater treatment companies and request proposals?
Yes. Browsing the directory, filtering by region and technology, and requesting scoped proposals from shortlisted providers is free for buyers. You only commit once you accept a proposal directly with a provider, so the cost of comparing the field properly is zero.
