How it Works
Aguato connects organizations facing water challenges with the right solution providers. In just a few clear steps, you can move from describing your need to awarding a solution — vendor-neutral, transparent, and fast.
For Clients
1) Post your project
Start by sharing your objectives and context. Aguato supports two types of projects:
- Water/Wastewater Challenges – Problem-driven projects where you need a tailored solution. For example, reducing COD in your effluent, achieving ZLD, improving reuse rates, or meeting new discharge regulations. In this case, describe your water matrix, operating conditions, and performance targets so providers can propose customized solutions.
- Sourcing Needs – Procurement-driven projects where you already know what you need — such as membranes, dosing pumps, monitoring sensors, or a specific treatment skid — and want to find the right provider at the best terms.
Include your constraints (flow, footprint, energy, budget, timeline) and, if available, attach supporting documents like water analyses, flow diagrams, or process descriptions. You can remain anonymous until you decide to share your identity.
2) Open bidding + targeted matching
Once your project is live, it becomes visible to all providers on Aguato. At the same time, our system invites providers whose expertise aligns with your industry, water matrix, and constraints. Providers can message you to clarify details before submitting their offers.
3) Review offers and quotations
You'll receive proposals in their original format — no rigid templates. To evaluate consistently, focus on:
- Proposed process or technology train and expected performance
- CAPEX and OPEX breakdown, including major consumables
- Footprint, utilities, lead time, and service options
Use the built-in chat to request clarifications or additional information whenever you need.
4) Award and collaborate
Choose your preferred solution and collaborate securely on Aguato. Messages, files, and milestones stay organized in one place, providing a clear and transparent audit trail.
For Providers
1) Create your profile
Showcase your technologies, industries served, and references. Keeping your profile current ensures better matches and more targeted invitations.
2) Engage with projects: message, unlock, and bid
Browse open opportunities and start by messaging clients to clarify their needs. To fully participate, purchase credits and use them to:
- Unlock attachments (e.g., water lab analyses, P&IDs, or process flow diagrams)
- Unlock chat access for direct client messaging
- Submit a tailored bid with your offer and quotation
3) Submit your offer and quotation
Present a clear, detailed proposal that includes your process design, performance guarantees, CAPEX/OPEX breakdown, utilities and consumables, schedule, and service plan. Attach technical drawings or datasheets to strengthen your bid. Transparent, comprehensive offers win.
4) Win and deliver
When your offer is awarded, manage the collaboration seamlessly on Aguato. Share updates, exchange documents, and track milestones — all in one secure space from award to delivery.
