Sidonwater S.L.
About
Sidon Water is a water technology company specialised in non-chemical water treatment and system optimisation. We develop and deploy advanced solutions that prevent and remove limescale, reduce fouling and corrosion, and improve the performance of cooling towers, industrial water systems, and reverse osmosis and desalination installations.
Sidon Water works with industrial clients, commercial building owners, OEMs and EPC partners to deliver measurable improvements in energy efficiency, operational reliability and asset lifetime. Our activities cover the full cycle from analysis and pilot projects to system integration, commissioning and long-term performance optimisation.

Services
Sidon Water develops and delivers advanced, non-chemical water treatment solutions that prevent and remove limescale, optimise cooling tower performance, and improve the efficiency of water, industrial process and RO/desalination installations. Our core technology reduces scaling, biofouling and corrosion, improving heat transfer, membrane efficiency and asset lifetime while lowering energy use, chemicals and maintenance. Beyond supplying our Integro™ systems, we provide full technical services: water analysis, site assessments, pilot and proof-of-concept projects, system design support, commissioning, monitoring and long-term optimisation. We also support OEMs, EPCs and end-users with integration into existing installations, performance validation, and ongoing technical and commercial rollout support across industrial systems, cooling towers, commercial buildings and desalination applications.
Technologies
The Integro™ is an electrochemical water restructuring technology developed and commercialised exclusively by Sidon Water. Installed inline and operating without chemicals, salt or any required maintenance, the Integro applies a controlled electrochemical process that inhibits mineral precipitation and reduces surface tension, while fully preserving the water’s natural chemistry and dissolved mineral content. The technology delivers benefits across two distinct and clearly defined applications: 1. Inline limescale prevention and removal By maintaining minerals in solution, the Integro prevents scale from adhering to pipes, heat exchangers, valves, fixtures, and heat transfer surfaces, while existing scale is gradually weakened and released. This leads to cleaner systems, improved heat transfer efficiency, reduced maintenance, and longer asset life across HVAC, industrial, and potable water systems. 2. Reverse osmosis (RO) and desalination optimisation In RO and desalination systems, the reduction in surface tension and restructured improve wetting behaviour and flow through membranes. This can help reduce hydraulic resistance and specific energy consumption (kWh/m3), while the modified behaviour of scaling salts limits fouling and scaling on membrane surfaces. As a result, Integro can support longer membrane lifespan, more stable flux and permeate quality, and reduced reliance on antiscalant dosing, improving overall operational efficiency and system resilience. In both applications, the Integro works by improving how water itself behaves within the system—addressing root causes rather than relying solely on mechanical or chemical intervention.
Use Cases
Sidon Water solutions are applied across a wide range of use cases where scaling, fouling, corrosion and system inefficiency impact performance and cost. Typical use cases include cooling towers and HVAC systems, industrial process water, boilers and heat exchangers, reverse osmosis and desalination plants, commercial and residential buildings, hotels and resorts, gyms and sports facilities, agriculture and irrigation systems, food & beverage and breweries, data centres, and municipal and utility water systems. Across these use cases, we focus on preventing and removing limescale, improving heat transfer, increasing membrane recovery and lifetime, reducing chemicals and downtime, lowering energy consumption, and extending asset life while improving overall water system reliability.
